The series Prai’Áurea (2024) investigates the beach as a symbolic territory where nature and alchemy meet. The sea, the sun and the horizon appear as elements of a poetic laboratory in which the human body takes part in processes of transformation. Within this scenario, landscape ceases to be mere geography and comes to function as a field of mystical experience.
In several images, the artist’s body appears marked by the presence of gold, a color historically associated with alchemical transmutation and spiritual illumination. The beach becomes a space of passage between states, where body, light and matter reorganize themselves in a gesture of inner purification.
The series thus builds a contemporary mythology of the coastline. Through visual play, performative gestures and symbolic references, the images suggest that the horizon is not merely an optical limit of the landscape, but an imaginary portal where the visible and the invisible meet.
